"Good little spot when I needed a breather"
I only stopped in because I was trying to kill a few minutes before work, but it turned out to be a really nice place to sit for a quick break. It was calm and clean inside, and the staff were chill. Definitely a good vibe for grabbing a coffee before getting on with the day

"Easy option for a quick lunch"
I go to pret often when I’m in town, and it’s usually a good choice. Even around lunchtime, I can normally find something without any hassle. The shelves are generally well stocked with sandwiches, wraps, salads, and snacks. Every now and then a popular item is sold out, but there’s always something else to grab, so it’s fine. Handy when I’m in a rush and just want a quick bite.

"Decent Food, But the Follow-Up Feels Generic"
The food is usually okay and tastes fresh most of the time, but every now and then the sandwiches seem like they’ve been sitting around a little too long. It’s not terrible, just average overall. What bugs me more is when you mention something and get one of those canned apologies that feels copy-pasted instead of like someone actually read what you said.

"Decent food, but the reminders are a bit much"
I’ve ordered from Pret a few times now, and the packaging is hit or miss. The drinks usually turn up fine, but the sandwiches sometimes arrive a bit squashed or messy, like they’ve just been tossed in the bag. It’s not the end of the world, but it definitely could be packed with a bit more care. Also, the reminders to order again are way too aggressive — I don’t need to be nudged constantly just because I bought lunch once...

The portions are big enough for me, which is great because I hate when places serve you some tiny little sad plate and act like it’s a full meal. None of that nonsense here.

"Refund came through, but it was a bit of a faff"
I ordered lunch on Pret the other day while I was trying to get through a busy workday, and one of the items was missing from the order. I contacted support to ask for a refund, and to be fair, they did get back to me, but it took a couple of days. I also had to send the receipt again, even though I was sure I’d already included it the first time, which was a little annoying. The money did come back in the end, so I can’t really complain too much. It was sorted eventually. I just wish the refund process had been a bit quicker and didn’t involve so much back and forth over a missing lunch item. Not awful, but not exactly great either

"Pret needs to do better for the price"
I used to really like pret, but my last few visits have been disappointing. The fillings tasted bland and not as fresh as they should, and the bread was dry too. For what they’re charging now, I think customers deserve better quality and more consistency. pret should really take some accountability and make sure the ingredients match the prices...

pret’s usually a solid choice when I’m in a rush. They’ve got loads of sandwiches, wraps, salads, little snacks, all that kind of stuff, and I do like that there are normally a few veggie options too. Not just the same sad cheese sandwich everywhere, you know? Although, randomly, the hot food can be a bit hit or miss depending on which shop you go into. Anyway, most of the time I can find something quick that I actually feel like eating, which is half the battle

It tastes good, honestly. Nothing over-the-top, but it’s the kind of thing that makes a regular snack or meal feel a bit more enjoyable. Sometimes that’s all you really need.

"Nice service even with a short wait"
I had a good experience here. There was a slight wait for my order, but the staff handled everything nicely and stayed polite the whole time. You can tell they were trying to be helpful, which made the wait not feel like a big deal.

"I use the Pret app on…"
I use the Pret app on most weekday mornings, and for that purpose it works really well. If I’m just trying to grab a coffee or breakfast quickly, it’s easy to order, the rewards are simple to find, and I’m not stuck digging through loads of menus. I can imagine it matters less if you only go once in a while, but for a regular morning stop, it’s handy.

"I do like Pret and I’ve had…"
I do like pret and I’ve had plenty of good visits, but the allergen handling can feel a bit hit and miss. The staff are usually friendly and do try to help, which I appreciate, but sometimes they seem rushed or not completely sure, and that doesn’t feel very reassuring when you’re trying to be careful. I’d feel a lot more comfortable if the allergen info was easier to check before ordering, so you’re not left second-guessing at the counter

"First Impression Was Fair Prices and Fresh Food"
The first thing I noticed when I started going to pret was that the prices felt reasonable for what you get. It’s definitely not the cheapest lunch option out there, but the food tastes fresh and there’s no guessing game with what you’re paying for. I still order from there now and then, and the coffee is good value too, especially compared with a few places near my office. I’ve never walked away feeling ripped off, which is probably why I keep going back

"Good Vegan Options, But Could Use More Variety"
I was happy to see plenty of vegan bits available, which definitely makes things easier. That said, I do wish the hot options changed up a bit more often. It’s nice overall, but after a while it can feel a little repetitive.

"Late lunch, soggy sandwich, spilled coffee"
Ordered lunch from pret and it showed up nearly an hour late, which was annoying enough on its own. The bag had that damp, warm paper feel because the coffee had spilled inside, and the bottom corner was basically soaked. My sandwich wrapper was wet too, so the bread had gone all soft and soggy around the edges. I kept checking for updates, but there wasn’t anything useful, just the usual vague tracking stuff. Not a great lunch experience at all.

"Latte was barely warm"
I grabbed a latte from pret it was almost cold. I even wondered if I was being picky at first, but no, it really was more like lukewarm milk than a hot coffee. Annoying when all you want is an actual hot drink.

"I had a problem with my order, so…"
I had a problem with my order, so I reached out to support not once but twice. i still didn’t get a proper answer. It just kind of felt like no one was really paying attention, which is frustrating, especially from a company this big. I get that issues happen, but the lack of help made the whole thing way more annoying than it needed to be.
